How we support the MAD Academy

We empower students through financing creative media arts projects and initiatives.

Digital Equipment

MAD Academy requires specific digital and technilogical equipment; it changes rapidly and requires replacement and upgrading. We help provide this funding.

Administrative Support

The MAD Academy Board of Directors provides funding for ongoing administrative support to the Director of the MAD Academy program and the Santa Barbara High School.

Sponsored Events

From annual Taco Nights for MAD family and friends, to educational field trips to San Francisco or Los Angeles museums, or fundraising through silent auctions, the MAD Board of Directors works to enhance the quality of the MAD educational experience.

The Endowment

We oversee the designated financial pool of funds in the California Academy Foundation, guaranteeing annual funding for the MAD Academy's ongoing expenses not covered by the Santa Barbara municipal school district.

Student Showcase

Celebrating creativity and talent in media arts and design.

Neon lights display the phrase 'MEDIA IS EVERYTHING' in a sequence of red, yellow, and blue colors against a plain wall. The glow of the neon creates a vibrant and striking visual, infusing the scene with a modern and edgy look.
